Corporate social responsibility is the major priority at Randstad. It is linked to their core philosophy which is that work should be a connecting force in the human world. Its mission of Shaping the world of work places Randstad at the heart of that world. The mission motivates employees and evokes a feeling of communal destiny: we are going to do something within the temporary employment sector which has never been done before – we are going to play the leading role as regards designing the worldwide employment market of tomorrow.


Randstad Holding nv celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in 2010. During those years, the company has grown from an grand vision by two pioneering students into a global company. Randstad asked Storytelling People to record its global story with the basis being a link between the past, present and future. Companies become great by following their dream. The ‘Working on a Dream’ book has been published in five languages and tells the story about people and their future.


How do you involve your employees and flexworkers worldwide in the Randstad corporate story? By giving them a platform to tell and portray their story. These inside stories give heart and soul to the corporate story. It is the start of the storytelling campaign: Everyone has a link with Randstad. Via a campaign site, every consumer can indicate his personal connection to Randstad. These true accounts add colour to the Randstad story.
